CUSTOM FINISH
Custom finish means just that, we can colour match to almost any colour within reason. The easiest way to do this is to go to a paint mixing station at your local hardware store and pick up a "Dulux" paint swatch. These usually come in a strip of six shades with the name and paint formula on them. this will help us to help you achieve what you require for your own personal needs.
CUSTOM FINISH - THE PROCESS
The process...all components are primed using a Polyurethane base coat, when dry, all components are "de-nibbed" using a very fine 400 grit glass paper which removes any woolly fibres. After this, the components are prepared for the top coat by removing all the fine dust - this is done using a cloth called a tac rag. The top coat is Polyurethane two part paint with hardener (similar to car paint in molecular structure). The finish has a sheen level of 25%, neither gloss or matt, it is on par with Eggshell/Satin finish.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DECONOMIX REQUIRE A SPECIFIC "DULUX" COLOUR SWATCH CODE FOR COLOUR MATCHING. WHILST EVERY EFFORT IS MADE TO MATCH COLOURS, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOME VARIATION IN FORMULAS DUE TO MEATMERIC PROPERTIES - SHEEN LEVELS MAY ALSO EFFECT THESE PROPERTIES.
