Deconomix DJ Indulgence

Graeme Meickle had seen some examples of our work and wanted to put a twist on what we had done and with some 3D modelling this is what came to fruition

The Luxury home entertainment

Sean Garnham from Colchester contacted Deconomix requesting our services for a bespoke console and storage for his music collection in his Penthouse pad and this was the end result

Walnut for DJ's

Crafting and working the Walnut Deconomix created this show piece which now resides in a beautiful house in Crouch End

DJ AKA Sunk and flush

DJ AKA (Alan Kenny Arscott) approched Deconomix with his vision of having his decks set in flush and everything all nice and tidy and from here onwards this type of console evolved

London School of Sound

Pink Floyds old recording studio's home to the London School of Sound commissioned Deconomix to help design and create the SoundWave Tutorial suite

Work & Play

Winston approached Deconomix to design his space to incorporate where he works from with where he likes to select his discs


Hotel 1st Copenhagen

Once Morten Trust found us at London Calling exhibiting our wares, Deconomix worked with him and the hotel to create this beautiful piece situated in Copenhagen


Radio 1 Xtra's Mistajam had previously purchased a vinyl storage DJ workstation from us.         He liked it so much that he commissioned Deconomix to design and fit out his office suit

Warehouse DJ Booth

Paul Gardener of the Soul Avengerz, Resedent DJ at Club Warehouse liked our work and after several meetings and establishing the remit this was the unfolding results.

Paul Dockery Penthouse booth

Paul Dockery had recently purchased his penthouse suit in Wembely and this black console Deconomix manufactuerd for him was the icing on the cake.

Home Media Hyewl Jones

Hyewl Jones wanted us to design a piece of furniture that would hold all his different media formats in one tidy space flush to the front and this is what we installed


Deep down DJ console

Kevin Cook of Deepdown Productions liked the project we produced for DJ AKA and wanted similar but with his own stamp on it and this was the out come

Vibrant Pink

One for the ladies, this pink unit was based on the original AKA unit which Deconomix delivered and installed in Bath

A selection of curved booths Deconomix has built over the years for various clients from Andy Howarth of Intergroove to Oli Lazarus of Reel People

Activ8 Studio suite

Deconomix worked alongside Martin Bucknall to create this Birch ply hand crafted studio for Activ8, when everything used to fit in racks and desks were huge

ATFC's Studio

Aiden The Funky Chilli (ATFC) first met us at Uptown records when we were marketing Deconomix back in 98. Years later when he had a spell of living in the country we went and set up a DDMC for his recording studio.

Girl Friendly

Girlfriendly was the brain child of Jenni Brown who saw the potential of having a multi function piece of furniture to not be out of place in an uncluttered front room

Graham Dixon DJ console

Graham Dixon in Leeds Saw the AKA unit we had manufactued and had to have one in his studio

Carl Berstein of the Washington Post

Carl Bernstein, American jounalist and Audiophile best known for his part in the Watergate scandal (All the Presidents Men) contacted Deconomix requesting some bespoke storage for his exstensive Jazz collection to be shipped to his appartment in New York

Mo Butt DJ console

Mo Butt loved a previous design we had manufactured and requested a similar set up and heres the result.

Audiophile needs

Mr Ed Geery a vinyl purist and Audiophile based in Surrey required Deconomix to design him a media dresser to accomadate all his different formats and this was the result

Ash curved DJ booth

Ashley demiral contacted Deconomix wanting a curved unit similar to the one we did for Andy Howorth of Intergroove fame finished in a Nissan silver with some nice chasing disco lights.

Rav Tegi DJ console

Dj Teji approached Deconomix to build him a console to perform his radio shows. He wanted to have similar lines to the original booths of the legendary Gary Stewart (original sound designer for Ministry of Sound) The end result was stunning

Flat packable design

Deconomix flat pack prototype designed for our Beatroute parties which got good use until it ended up in club If in Illford

Archive solutions

Generic record storage solutions were the genesis and bread and butter in getting Deconomix established and out there filling the need for DJ's and record collectors alike

Mile wide DJ consle

Mile Wide Mikey Jukes of Brighton wanted a flush setup colour matched to his existing furniture. A year later we went back and installed some additional wall mounted units and a massive tower for all his 12"s and books.

Deconomix @ BPM 2009

BPM 2009 moved to the NEC in Birmingham and it was a perfect time to test out our prototype flat pack booths as featured

Chris Hewitt DJ Console

Mr Chris Hewitt visited Deconomix and we thoroughly worked through his requiements building his set up around his beloved vestax

Plastic Fantastic shop fit

Back in 2000 Deconomix was in Plastic Fantastic record shopping (remember that shop?) and got talking to the guys and ended up fitting out there shop in Ibiza and then went on to fit out their Durey Lane shop
